Dear all,

Here’s a short resume of the first world cup kiteboarding 2008.Â
After being out for quite a while because of my ankle, the first competition was
there pretty soon. 

First of all, I am very happy that my ankle is almost the old one again.

For the freestyle I was not so lucky.  While doing my second trick in the first
heat I grabed the wrong part of my bar (the savety), which resulted in a
kitecrash on the 5th line, in the waves with on-shore wind. 

But the better news is that I have a top 10 (8th) result for the racing and best
of all for me was the best trick.

Even though the riding conditions were very hard, and so was the concurrence
(from Brazil, Hawaii, Dom. Rep,…) I managed to have a 3the place with Best trick!

My best result in a world cup ever so far.
